This was once a daily account of my journey into the world of public transportation. Now, it's just a sports blog.

Winning back the media:
The Blazers won again – they beat Orlando (I know, big deal, right?) in overtime. I decided to watch Sportscenter and ESPNews to see if there was any coverage. They showed all of the other NBA games, (except the Sonic-Jazz game). Several times they showed (former Blazer) Jermaine O'Neal's monster shot block, but failed to mention (current Blazer) Theo Ratliff's franchise record-tying 9 blocked shots – or anything else whatsoever about the Portland-Orlando game. I guess it takes more than a few wins to win back the media. (They certainly had plenty of time to talk about baseball, though – even though their season doesn't start for another 2 months!) Also, it was (former Blazer) Rod Strickland that hit the 3-pointer for Orlando to send the game into O.T. (See previous entries.)
